“English” Play and Reception @ The Guthrie / ticket discounts available

Sanaz Toossi’s Pulitzer prize-winning play, English, tells the story of four Iranians who studying English at a school in Karaj, hoping someday to emigrate. The performance will be followed by a reception at 3:10 with the director and performers. Light appetizers and tea will be served. At the reception, you will have the opportunity to share your own stories about learning English.
The Guthrie is offering 50% off code (promo code: ICC) for the Aug. 4 matinee. The code will have a limit of 6 tickets per person, with no restrictions on seating area. This is available by phone and window, not online, so you will need to contact the Box Office at 612.377.2224 during regular hours.
